I'm not sure if most would throw my car into a father and son project, but it was mainly the son project of searching and trying to find a car to work on. Me in this case. Well I do have it, and so far me and my father have done a few odd and end's to the car. Mainly just routing maintence so far. However one of these days we will strip it down and do it justice. That is unless I part with it for what I really wanted.

I"M glad to see that some people know what i'm talking about when I said father and son prodjects,   but some of you guys can't let go of the sour grapes   .dudes this is about prodjects fathers and children have worked on together, and how it brought them together. I guess some of you guys can't cope with that. this ain't no scam thread :icon_smile_angry: lighten up and tell a good story for a change :2thumbs:
I apologize for hijacking your thread.Just trying to lighten things up.I just had to respond when I saw the topic and it's the first thing that came mind after seeing all the hlpag threads here on the site.My intentions were not bad.Sorry! Please accept my apology.

appology accepted h76 :icon_smile_big: sorry I seem to be a little edgey its just that my youngest son, with whom I built our mustang , will be heading off to college soon and now with my new prodject on deck, (74 R/R) I'll be doing it alone :-\ anyways father and son prodjects are what make this hobby special. also I refuse to grow up and get too old to drive fast cars :2thumbs: after all there is plenty of time to drive slow when i'm 90 :coolgleamA: have a great day gang TK

My father and I are restoring a 73 Charger.  We're cloning a Rallye.  We have spent quite a bit of time working on cars together, but this is our first resto.  We've been seriously working on this car for only about a year and a half now, even though we've had it for about 4 and a half years.  This won't be our last resto either.  A 2nd gen is next on the agenda.

Jackie,

I'll be unpacking all the boxes of stuff that survived the flooding in the next week. I should have that Super Coupe stuff in there somewhere.

Well as many of you know already.  Hubby me and our two older gilrs have been restoring a 68 Dodge Charger R/T clone.  We have a lot of ups and downs with this vehicle, but it has definatly become a family affair to go out and work on it.  In fact the two older ones put the final pieces (the charger emblems on the side of the car) on the car the other day.....one each!

Hubby bought me a 71 Charger, but we haven't picked it up from the previous owner yet.  I am really excited to get it home and start working on it.  I will alllow all three of my girls to help me with it.  Huuby said said it is a third gen.  he will not do anything but the engine work on it, so It will be a mom and daughter project!  YEAH!!!!!
