My New Charger Barn!! (pics)

We've just about completed the building of my new garage, well pole-barn to be exact! It's 40' long by 26' deep and is attached to my old existing 1 bay 14'X20' making 54 total feet across, it's a big shop! It took about 3 and a half months to put up and now i just have some landscape and driveway work to do but other than that the cars are in! I have my '68 Charger, '69 General Lee rep, and my dads 1st gen '67 Charger in there now. In the years to come the plans are for my dad and me to do a full blown restoration on my '68, then whatever other projects come up along the way!! Here's some pics:

Nice addition indeed. A 30 X 40 pole building will hopefully be in my future. Do you have any comments good or bad about the project. Slab, ,electric, ,insulation, options etc. Also, if not being to nosey. Ball park prices.

Thanks! I was origionaly gonna do the barn 40'x30' also but space wise in my back yard 26' deep worked better, sure i'd like to have those extra 4 feet but it's not a big deal and it fits the yard much better. I haven't insulated it yet, i may sometime down the road but right now it's only gonna be used for storage in winter and i'll do what ever work i need to while the weather is warmer. I'll probably wait till it's time to restore the '68 then insulate it. Your lookin at around $20,000 depending on how picky your neighborhood is about permits and inspections and what not. I have a little more than that into mine but i ended up having to put in a new concrete pad driveway in front of the barn, the plan was to use crushed stone for a driveway but the city said no way for whatever rediculous reason which cost me more, plus we had to put a new roof on the existing 1 bay that we attached the barn too which wasn't origionaly planned either. Thats another thing, there will always be little things that will add up in price. But it's all worth it in the end, i'd say do it right and don't try to cut corners, i have friends that have gone the cheaper routes and there garages look like it, i also have buddies that went the extra mile like i did and have some super nice shops!

Hell ya. Looks nice. Prices on everything has been going up. I built a 32 X 26 and a 32 X 30 pad in front and and it cost 14K back in 03. And insulated it and put on vinyl siding and vinyl windows on it. It's nice to keep everything out of the weather. I'm fighting the heat now. It has been over 100 out in mine the last couple weeks I hate this heat and well then comes the cold

Thanks for all the coments!! Yes i do have plans for a lift in the future, not a full stand under lift but one of those "KwikLifts", saw them down in Carlisle this year and they look really nice and safe too.
