mikesbbody

bronze, if you mean you had to keep them and couldnt sell them?
for me it would be 1. 71 rt charger 4 speed, hemi, 2. 71 super bee 4 speed hemi, 3. 72 rallye charger 440 6 pack (i believe 2 were factory made?) the hardest part would be decided what colors, options etc but...
if you could sell them i would get 3 more valuable mopars (hemi convertible cuda's, superbirds etc) sell them and get the 3 i mentioned (and maybe more  :icon_smile_big:) the big $ mopars never really appealed to me as much to be honest.

terrible one

A beat up, but magically reliable '68 with a jacked up rear end, slot mags (15x7 in front, 15x10 in back), a stroked 440 with a cross ram and two carbs sticking up through the hood, with a 4-speed and a 3.91 Sure Grip unit, painted in flat black primer, with dents and all.

Tough choice because I like most anything Mopar built from 67-72......but a couple of the top few would be :drool5:

70 AAR Cuda -- FM3, white interior buckets non console 4 speed
70 Charger -- B5 blue, white top, white stripe, white interior 440 console auto!
71 Hemi RR with airgrabber, buckets, non console 4 speed (prefer Curious Yellow, with White interior)

That would cover me on small block, big block and a Hemi.... :drive:

Earth. Even the word sounded strange to me now... unfamiliar. How long had I been gone? How long had I been back? Did it matter? I tried to find the rhythm of the world where I used to live. I followed the current. I was silent, attentive, I made a conscious effort to smile, nod, stand, and perform the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth. I studied these gestures until they became reflexes again. But I was haunted by the idea that I remembered her wrong -Solaris

HMMM! no one has the Charger concept that is comming up for auction?  I think the thread said it will go for 2 mil.  Does that still count under unlimited funds?

Mike DC

1.  Wayne Wooten's 1969 General Lee.  It's the primary "closeup" prop-car from the old TV series, and it's essentially unaltered since filming stopped in 1985.

2.  A "Vanishing Point" Alpine white 1970 440/4spd Dodge Challenger.  Maybe swap it to an all-aluminum stroker Hemi & do some mild suspension improvements.

3.  A more comfortable resto-modified street Mopar of some sort, maybe another GL or just a nice 2nd-gen Charger.  Automatic OD tranny, A/C, better seats, etc.
