Anyone know the difference between a 68 and a 69 Charger dash harness?Ralley.
God must love stupid people....he made a sh**load of 'em....

Matco tools...guaranteed for a lifetime. Just not a human lifetime.

One big one for sure is the parking lights.  In 68 the harness is wired so the parking lights in the front go off when yo go up to head lights on. In 69 they switched it to the parking lights remaining on when the headlights are on. Sounds strange but true.

I've got both wiring harnesses out of the car & i checked to see what the differences were:  they both had all the same connectors, they both had the signal flasher connectors but they were in different places in the harness.
The only difference i could see was the wire that goes in the letter C slot in the bulk head connector. So i checked the 68 & 69 wiring diagrams to see where it went to.
In the 68 wiring it was a violet coloured wire that went to the automatic transmission back up lamp switch & in 1969 it was a white with tracer coloured wire that went to the body wiring connector.

I think the parking lamp stuff is more related with switch than harness itself
