Here are some pics I took at the Swedish Mopars at the Strip meet..

There were some 320 Mopars present, about 50-60 owners took out their rides and raced time slips on the 1/8mile track. I think one guy raced his Chally at least 40 times down the track :2thumbs:

There were not any really insanely fast runs, but a couple of the Race Mopars managed to do 2-3 foot wheelies and as you can guess, the crowd went "nuts" when these cars took center stage, also guys doing rather long burnouts also got BIG applause from the crowd.. It was a fun day, only thing that "Sucked" was that my own ride is still standing in the garage.. then again there is always next year..

Here are the pictures....

1970 Dodge Charger (I just loved this car, it just looks bad ass :2thumbs: )

Another one of what I thought was a really cool ride.. Plymouth Barracuda with a -Yes, its got a HEMI!!!

-Who says a Chick cant drive an old Muscle car.. a 1971 440 Plymouth Cuda.. and she looked good to :icon_smile_big: -Sadly I wasnt able to take a pic of her with out the helmet on..

I dont think I even have to say anything about how cool this 1969 Charger is... The owner is from Norway, sadly he has not been active on our Forum, hope he finds his way here someday.. He spent some 10 years building this Charger to what it is today...

A cool "sticker" on this ride would be one that stated "My rear wing is HIGHER than yours.." Numbers matching Plymouth Superbird, one of 3 real ones found in Sweden...

This ride is so Ugly its beautiful...

Well and some Dodge Chargers....

Misc. cars... Cudas, GTX, etc...

First one, a real AAR Cuda...

HEMI Dart... It was just amazing how the owner had managed to "Shoehorn" the Hemi bullet into the Dart engine compartment...

Amazing - those pictures are absolutely amazing....

The location of that track is very surreal - in the middle of an open field, surrounded by woods and mountains.....one of those last track shots with the endless clouds looks like a CGI shot.

You guys rock!

Great pics!

The bugle sounds the charge begins. But on this battlefield no one wins.

I didint really follow what kinda time slips the guys ran. To me it seemed more that the "faster" cars were more or less trying to improve their 60ft times and test different setups..

Do you know why that is? Is there a more relaxed policy for importing cars in Sweden than the other European countries?

Or maybe its just the fact the you guys have a great taste in cars embedded in your genes.

Love the Iron Maiden pic above - BITCHIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
