What do you guys think??

This is a base model Charger coupe, one of 5045 made. Looks to be the original 318 and column 904 trans. Its a non-airconditioned, manual drum brake, rubber floor mat car showing aproximately 109000 miles. It starts and runs, but smokes. Have not had it on the road to check roadwothiness, but everything seems to work as far as trans and brakes, charging and cooling systems. It was originally a B5 blue car inside and out with body side moulding. It has been repainted a dark green several years ago, and there are a couple small bubbles and obvious previous body work that would need to be addressed before a repaint. Will need a rear drivers floor patch. Trunk seems solid as well as the rest of the car overall.

This is a project car that would give someone a good starting place without having to look for a second car for parts. Interior was is B5 blue bench seat and needs re-done. All the glass seems in good older condition. Grilles are intact, tail lights are nice, and has the full set of hubcaps.

Looks like a great, cheap car. Hows the rust?

Definately inspect the floors well.  The rubber floor mats really hold the water.  I put my foot through the floor in my old Charger with the rubber mat.

If rust is not a issue its well worth it imo but like matt said check it out!

Yeah forgot that part.  Its worth it if everythings in order.  Looks like a fun project.   :2thumbs:

Pictures look good.
$2,000 is a good price for a complete project car that has no major issues (massive rust or structural damage).

Have see others pay much more for cars in worse shape.

Could be parted out for more than 2K
But we all know what a pain and a shame that would be.

Coupes are cool, I'd jump on that!

If you find the rust is REALLY bad, you could always part it for more than you paid for it. It would suck, but they don't all make it.

Looks like a great deal if everything underneath is structurally sound. Probably not a bad deal even if it's not, as it's worth that easily in parts.

No. I wish I had the cars that dude has. I stopped by there a couple months back but it was higher priced then so I didn't look at it too close. I was just maybe thinking of a prject later on down the road. It is like 50 miles from me. Since he has been trying to sell it for a while I'm kinda wondering why. That Coronet he has looks like a deal too. If he would take 1500 I would probably get it no mater what.
