steering column cover (sleeve)

Can anyone tell me how the short sleeve thing is held onto the column on a 70?  Its the cover that goes over the mesh area of the column.  There was tape on there before I finished it.  Didnt look factory.

73s are taped.

Its a very complicated installation requiring precision tools and exact measurements.  Kidding :icon_smile_big:
Actually what you had before is factory.Two pieces of electrical tape wrapped around the plastic cover.  Hi Tech.

Geez, I might be able to handle that installation.  With my luck I will sever a major artery cutting the tape off the roll.
