does anyone  know how many and what cars survived from the original "dukes of hazzard" series? of course we all know about the chargers but what else survived?? :shruggy:i

My guess is between 25 and 30 Chargers. That is higher than many other estimates. However, the Veluzats and Ken Fritz each had leftovers that have survived. Cars went off and were used in other projects. Cars were stolen. Some escaped the crusher. The only problem now is not all look like General Lee's.

i wonder if there are any original series cars still tucked away in someone's garage somewhere? that would be pretty cool of a find! and like you said jimshine if cars were stolen there has to be more out there somewhere..and i would think too that there has to be surviving police cars too since they used more  of them than chargers...

There aren't huge numbers of Chargers un-found.

I'd call it about 22-24 cars that were bought & modified for use on the series at some point in their lives.  There are some grey areas.  It depends on your specific definitions of "real GLs" and "still existing."

Maybe 20-30 surviving GLs.  That's about the closest consensus you'll get.
