Hi,

I just wanted to write & see if anyone has taken their bumpers for re-chroming around the Baltimore, Philadelphia, Harrisburg area. If so, any positive recommendations specifically?

Thanks for your time,
Aaron

They have several ads in Mopor Collectors Guide. They done my 72 bumpers and I was pleased. I had sandblasted the backsides before I shipped them and they painted the backsides before shipping back.........a very nice unexpected touch.   J

I have heard good things about Tri City Plating in Elizabethton, Tennessee.  I think they go to several of the car shows during the season.

It depends what type of chrome you are looking for. I've heard very good things about Paul's, & they're chrome quality looks very nice. However, my buddy wasn't very pleased. He had some pot metal belt moulding ends done for his convertible. Seems the chrome is now too thick & the part doesn't fit the way it should. He was able to work around it, but he wasn't too happy.

I've had bumpers & other pieces done by Martin's of Philly. Be prepared to have a huge, fat wallet ready. Very expensive, but I have yet to see Charger bumpers that are nicer.

Frankford Plating is also very good at pot metal, they are in PA I think in Philly or close to Philly as well.
