Speaker install in doors? Questions on mounting, hiding wires.

Hey folks

I'm starting to think about stereo placement as I put my interior back together. I'd like to put speakers in the doors, and it looks like there is a good hole for a 4x6 near the lower front corner.

I'd love to see what others have done in terms of door speaker install just to get some idea. One thing I know is that the speaker will be hidden inside the door panel; I want a stealth install (i recall someone had cut speaker holes on the backside of a door panel to achieve this)

The other question I was wondering is about wiring. How are you all hiding the wiring to the door? I know on GM cars they made a flexible rubber boot that installed between the door and the A pillar for power windows - you would just drill a hole and the boot would fit in similar to a body plug but give you a nice accordian-style weatherproof place to run wires.

Did Dodge do anything similar? How and where did they run wires for power doors, etc? I'd like to have a neat installation.

Thanks!

I put 6" round speakers in my doors, but not stealth, I cut the door panel and mounted the grill on the outside.  I did have to do a little trimming on the door to make it fit.  As for the wires, I went to a salvage and pulled a couple of those according rubber things out of some car, don't remember what, drilled the holes in the door and cowl and ran the wires - very professional looking job that anyone can do!
