Went back up to the visitors center. Everyone was suppose to be there. Sorry, Matt no pics of the green Charger. I waited up there with a couple that are restoring a 70 Charger and Richard . He owns this 68 Charger. Very nice people. We decided to cruise back to the hotel but everyone was gone. I did see MoparJohn heading south on 15.

Nice pics.  That guy in front of that red and white 69 sure looks suspicous doesnt he?    Anyway, it was great to finally meet you and Shelby.  I still cant believe that your car is a 318.  Sure is one MEAN 318 though.  Also love the pic of the 74 that came out with the strobe stripe.     Neil and I were chatting for a while and I sure made a bunch of new friends over the weekend.  Even helped a fellow 69 charger owner out with some toasty wiring and alternator replacement.

There was a slight snafu with timing this morning and meeting at the visitors center.  The itinerary said that we would be leaving the hotel at 11 and last night we said about meeting there between 9 and 11.  I tried to give you and Neil a heads up about it as I called him and he said that you were probably not going since it was raining at that time.  I do apologise as I was under the impression that the group of you had decided against it due to the weather.  I know after the awards were presented at the hotel, the majority of them left for Gettysburg.  As luck would have it, my charger was voted as the Peoples Choice award and I had to leave shortly there after as my wife called and wanted me home right away (3 hour plus drive in the rain) since my daughter was getting crabby.  Oh well.... I guess thats how 7 month old babies are.

Anyway, I am glad that you, Shelby, Neil, and everyone else that joined you had a great time.  Hopefully we will everyone again soon.

No problem , Brian. I knew Randy and Sharol weren't going. It wasn't raining here. I left a little late and got a little lost.   I didn't talk to Neil today. But I'm glad you got his #. He's a great guy.  He's 1 of the guys that put in Shelby's radiator at Carlisle. It wasn't a wasted trip, I made some new friends that are local and wanted to go to the shows with all of us.  I hope the baby is feeling better.    And it was great to see Neil  over your Charger, since everyone around here  over his.  And notice he always parks beside me so my Chally looks

That sure was a great time. There were Chargers from frame off to work in progress. The friendships made were priceless. I learned so much from the old timers. Since I was the local boy they let me lead the way to Gettysburg and back. What a ride. Here are some pics. 71Challegeher, MoparJohn, Resc302, Bluepentastar and any other member, it was great to meet you. What a great time!! What surprise me was I drove my car 3 days and it did not break down. My wallet got lighter. GAS.

Geromy brought his work in prigress. Notice the wing on top. One of the old timers stated it was a dealer installed option that was probably bought down south. It was to simulate the NASCAR look. He had taken the wing off the trunk.

You read my mind. I would have loved to drove your car. That car is beautiful. Did not get a chance to talk more, had to get up early and get some chores done before I headed back over. Wayne changed the plans a bit Sunday morning since allot of people were heading back home early and some of the others wanted to go someplace else. Your pic, I bet is from Mr. T's, right?

Saturday night at the hotel was awesome.  Hotel parking lot full  :drool5:NOTHING BUT MOPAR what a awesome sight BEAUTIFUL.  Meeting the other MOPAR owners, what a great group of people. Randy drives truck and had to get some rest before his trip to Maine Sunday afternoon, so we took off.  We always like to cruise with Neil, flips people out seeing 2 Dodge Charger's side by side and of course first at the red light is a blast.  The light turns green all you see is SMOKIN tires and two red streaks. Show them tuner dudes what the real muscle can do.  i would have liked to return to Gettysburg Sunday but the Charger is 4 speed with HD clutch, I get the charlie horse in my leg that sucks.  My ride is 1972 Cuda 413 wedge, 727 with Quicksilver shifter don't get charlie horse with that one.  This has been tucked away for 5 years, it's about time to get her out again.
