Anyone else notice that Fred Lorenz had the second largest payout for the year, but only raced in 17 races compared to 54 for some of the other drivers?

Anyone else notice that Fred Lorenz had the second largest payout for the year, but only raced in 17 races compared to 54 for some of the other drivers?

Quite a few teams only ran the big money races.    Some of the factory Aero Era drivers who only ran partial schedules in 69 or 70 were:
Charlie Glotzbach
Cale Yarborough
Pete Hamilton
Lee Roy Yarbrough
David Pearson
Bobby Allison
