Dick Landy paint scheme on my 68??

 Hello Charger fans!! Im starting to work on my 68 Charger project but im really jonesing (sp) to do the Landy paint scheme , well most of it anyway. I really don't want to molest the car but i just don't want to make it a plain jane. Im not planning on painting inside the door jambs etc. silver just the body. The only shame sorta is its originally the nice QQ1 blue but...   I really want do something nostalgic    

What do you guys think .. Im looking for cragars already in the want ads.

I was going to do something similar - but Dick decided to be a Dick and write me an email saying how he didn't have the time to give me color codes...         So I axed that idea...     Mike replied to my email later

Thanks for every ones input.  i could probably go with the factory Chrysler silver for 68/69 , and the QQ1 or B5 for the blue , not sure on the red though. I bought brand new fenders and will be painting them the original blue inside so the car could always be changed back.

Fun idea! Does anyone know the proper color codes, and car treatment regarding hood scoop, interior, etc.?

if your 1/18 scale has the proper color on it, most good paint shops can match the color by just reading the color off that car right?

Did this car ever get painted?
I did recently find out the actual colors for the Landy cars (and truck). 1967 Mercedes Silver, Ford Poppy Red and 1967 Dodge Blue.  This is straight from Landy's mouth
