Mopar parts catalog stated standart, 001, 008 and 030 tappets/lifters... are they actually available or did somebody really need them ?

The parts books at the time list them, so they were available then but not any more.

Some blocks actually left the factory with .008" oversized lifters, they will have a diamond stamped on the data pad; the other oversizes were to refurbish worn blocks.
