In 1946 The Delux Custom model was the only model available in convertible. I have no production breakdown from year to year but 9,500 convertibles in the delux model were built from 1946-1948.  I would love to have one, however low production doesnt alway translate to high value, the bookI have list #2 condition worth about 16k, however the book was printed in 2000.  It list a 1970 300 Hurst at just under 10k in #2 condition and they only built 485 of those.  I would definetly pay the prices listed for either of the 2 vehicles!

thanks 41husk. you are a big help! i couldnt even seem to find any type of production numbers for them. reason i was asking is i bought one a few months ago from a guy who had it in his garage for over 20 years. it is an all original sheetmetal car with NO patch work anywhere on it. i pretty much STOLE the car for what i paid for it. i'm putting it back to original. i just havent had any luck finding out much about them. thanks again!!!

No problem, I would love to see some pictures.  I got the information from a publication called "Standard catalog of Chrysler 1914-2000" 2nd efition. written by James T. Lenzke and published by Krause.  It's a verry good book but the price guide is way off.

70 Charger RT

I got this from the nada.com website.  I use nada quite a bit.

Yes this publication has it at 16k for #2, the only thing higher is a 1 and that would be a trailoe queen,  I would grab that car inhalf a heart beat for 16k in #2 condition.  I'm sure NADA is much closer to reality.
