Seemed to be COMPLETELY abandoned.  Don't know if there were anymore Mopars due to my vantage point.  Thought you all would like them even though they are just a few.

***September 8, 2007***

Well I managed to find someone who knows the owners of this yard, and nothing but bad news.  This gentleman I talked to claims to be well acquainted with the "new" owners of the yard, and he said they will be CRUSHING everything.

I asked him if he knew if that yard had any first, second, or third generation Chargers and he said he didn't think so, but it wouldn't have mattered because they DO NOT want to sell.  They don't want to sell parts or whole cars, they just want to clear up the yard and get rid of all the cars.

This gentleman I talked to also said he recently sent someone over to speak with the owners because he had inquired about some cars.  Apparently this person was willing to buy a few cars from the owners, and they still said, "No."  Oh well, I guess I won't bother with that yard anymore.  Just thought I'd put this out here for anyone who was interested.

Not to be an arse, but I'd rather not say until I get a chance to go over there again and see if there is anything that I can get.  Well, that is if it is even open because it really seemed like no one had been there for years.  However, I WILL tell you all where it is at in a couple of weeks, unless someone already knows where this is at and posts the location.

I'm gonna guess west of the rockies and south of Reno?

you are about 1,500 miles off, but good guess.  Give me 2-3 weeks and hopefully I'll know if this place is even open.  I need to make phone calls, and if that doesn't work than I will have to go there personally.  It will be tough because there were no numbers at all.  I asked a gas station attendant who said that they have never seen that place open.  I took down the number to a realty company that has a sign on the very edge of the property.  Don't know if they are selling that property or they are just advertising.  Any suggestions?

It always makes me chuckle when people post photo's of cars they see, or salvage yards but are afraid to divulge where the yard is. Odds are that there is someone else who knows of the same yard, and honestly how many people are searching for the same parts?

call me a hypocrite though as I don't tell where parts cars I know of are either.

I've been all over most of Missouri and I've never seen any mountains like that. Looks more like the west or southwest.

You ever been to Missouri

You live in Mich. I live 60 miles from Missouri....The ozark mountains look nothing llike that. Those mountains look not as lush.....like in a low moisture area to me .....so Utah Nev. NM AZ. He says he is near El-Paso in this thread

If it was possible to clear up the back ground of a few of those photos there are some street signs and business signs that might give a clue :scratchchin:

Bingo! You must know where it is then.  Fernando says he lives near El Paso in a thread where he is looking for parts. Too far for me.  By a highway so thousands drive by it everyday....not really a secret place.

You might be able to ask the chamber of commerce if they know what it was or who owns it. Also any businesses around the area might know. That worked fior me when I found a lot with old cars in it. But it also depends on how big the town is too for people to help with info. Could have been an old impound yard too.
