:icon_smile_cool: :nana: Some may know me from Moparts, ForABodiesOnly, etc....

I am considering purchasing a 72 Charger that has a 318 (boat anchor) A/C, etc. It might run but not well, body is straight, minimal rust, decent interior and it comes with a 440 on an engine stand. Trying to get it for $1200.
Don't have pics yet but working on it. :brickwall: Might just do the easy thing and get a 360 shortblock and some Eddys and drop it in. Or just go with a stock rebuild on the 318. It will need paint, too. Is this a reasonable price and where is a good site for pics of 3rd Gens? this will make me an owner of all 3!! 66, 67, 68 R/T and now, maybe a 72!!

Thanks!!

Welcome to the site man, check the 3rd gen site in my signature for another good forum.  I mainly use this site and that one.  You will find all kinds of good info on both.   :yesnod:

You know...  318s arent looking so bad anymore with gas prices...  You might want to think about making it into a nice driver since you already have some others to play with.  Mines a big block but if I was to build a second car i'd definately go small block so I could afford to put gas in it.   ;D

We can always use another 1st gen owner around here too.  Post some pics of the cars you already have!  :2thumbs:

Welcome!I find this board a lot more personal than MOPARTS...'72
s a nice casrs too!

Well, I'm at work right now and the firewall blocks the website...but here are a couple of the 68 R/T and the 66 waiting for me to come back and get started on them. The 68 R/T is a 440, runs/drives but needs paint/interior. The 66 will be a custom.. :D The 67 is in VA and has a weird story... The 72...still no pics.. :RantExplode:

I was a member a long while back..68 R/T time or something like that..then the board crashed.... :shruggy:

BTW, I have an avatar now..if ya didn't notice. Might bring my 'Cool! Welcome!' vote count UP!! 'So what?' is a close second!! :2thumbs: :icon_smile_tongue:
