Back in the late 80's and early 90's.. When thrash metal bands were big. (yes im a metal head) There wasa band called Ministry. THey came out with a song. Jesus built my hot rod... And the cover to the single was this pic of a 440 6 pac engine... Look at the beautiful restored engine. LOl Wouldnt you have loved to have been able to snag that motor back then ??? LOL

As a Ministry fan, I have to point out that technically they are "Industrial"... NOT metal.  Yes, I am wound a bit tight about my music...

I did have to cut myself off from Ministry while driving... can't afford the tickets or to be wrapped around phone poles...

Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical,
      a liberal, oh fanatical, criminal.
Won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're
acceptable, respectable, oh presentable, a vegetable!

Ministry made some rather wimpy music back in the 80's. Crap that would have fit in Pretty in Pink.

I am a huge Industrial fan...I worship at the altar of Einsturzende Neubaten.  I am a slavish devotee of KMFDM.  To me, the Industrial movement was the most exciting movement in music EVER.

Cool,

So the whole time I was listening to Ministry, they were supporting MoPars too?  I knew that I liked Al Jorgenson for a good reason!  :icon_smile_big:

try Filth Pig. I liked that album, though not his "best" work.  alot of my friends/bandmates didn't care much for it.

I don't listen to this stuff while driving (or riding) for the same reasons.  :yesnod:

When I got my '68 Charger R/T for $500 in 1990, original paint, no dents, no rust, no motor, some original Big Black albums were selling for more than that.
