Tomato prices in your area?

This is ridiculous...a week ago it was 5 tomatoes for $1...now its only 3 tomatoes for $1. The government should do step in and do something about this.

I have an idea..why don't we have a "no tomato" day where no one buys tomatoes? That'll show them tomato people. If that doesn't work, we will boycott a produce company, that way they'll be forced to bring down the price of tomatoes.

It's 6 ears in my area... :smilielol:

As long as nobody messes with beer prices, I'll be ok. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

It's corporate greed, pure and simple!  These executives should taken out back and shot!  And that's all there is to it.

Yea and not only do they charge an outrageous amount for tomatos they use illegal mexican immigrants to pick the tomatos. I heard the evil corporation called walmart uses low wage mexicans for tomato pickers, and they are not unionized and don't get paid medical care, 10 weeks of paid vacation a year and don't make 50 dollars an hour what a rip off. We should blow up all the walmarts.......

Must be a corporate monopoly
Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms should be a convenience store NOT a government agency!

Sure you're willing to boycott tomatoes, but have you considered the vast scope of their influence?  Are you ready to boycott ketchup?  Catsup?  Marinara sauce?  Salsa? Beef-a-Roni? Gazpacho???   Didn't think so.  The abuse will continue until we as a society learn to lessen our dependence on the almighty tomato.  Eat a carrot.

I don't know, but I'd run after that if I didn't get hurt when I got there.

BTW, tomatoes really suck ever since they genetically alter them to ship better without getting squashed. No taste.

maybe we ought to start looking at highly impractical alternative "tomato-like" substances to make these products.
