ok heres the deal im planning on building a 512 stroker with my 440 block and already had planned on using BCR's alum main caps becuase i know the stock caps wont handle 650 hp  BUT  my plans changed i came across a 426 hemi that i have to buy, Does anyone know or heard of cap walk on a hemi??  im pretty sure the center main caps are cross bolted..   im looking to get around 650 hp  maybe slightly more   with 472 Cu. In. with the hemi,,  but im not sure what the stock hemi main caps can handle ?

The crossbolted mains really help with the cap walk issue. I would have the block sonic checked/magnafluxed before putting any money into it to make sure it is structurally sound. 650hp should be no problem as long as the structural integrity is intact.
