Since right now the phasered rallye stripes are being reproduced, and my car is/was being rebuilt with stock/factory appearence ( except on interior and maybe some Keystone wheels soon ) will like to heard opinions. Keep white or change to Red/Yellow phasered stripe.

Both options are reflective

I like the red/yellow because that was the one that was originally on the car, and you never see them anymore.  It would really stand out.

Was it originally blue? I'm having a hard time picturing what a blue car with a red and yellow stripe would look like.

It is a beautiful car either way.

Nacho, looking for the brown\tan one send me an email

TUFCAT

greatwn73 , I don't think there is an alternative color such as a tan/brown phaser "or laser" stripe on the '73 -'74 rallyes.  In my opinion, I belive there is only two colors: the red/orange/yellow, black, (white like nacho has is rare). The red/orange/yellow would have been available as a choice on most most all of the exterior colors, or black. Additionally, the red/orange/yellow could have been superceded by black or white (as the only choices) on just a a few of the exterior exterior colors (like dark green for example) .

Not bad for a dude who wasn't  born when 3rd generations were out prowling the roads  Hell, I was born in 1967 and I can barely  remember all the details of the 73 and 74 models when they were new. I used to see them at the local dealerships while killin' time with the old man.  :icon_smile_wink:   For the record, the gold stripes are cool.    :coolgleamA: :coolgleamA: :coolgleamA:

Nacho-RT74

now ppl, let's see who is able to decode or give a name to these ones one EVEN WITH DECK LID STRIPE:

first one PROBABLY also lot faded brown/tan, but deck lid strip makes me doub about that. As far I know no deck lid &/or bulgeds black outs on phasered stripes

Note: notice the second one  :icon_smile_question:
