Did you know you are missing the nose piece that attaches to the bottom on the hood in the front for 69 only?

I love them all, but it is a toss up between 69 and 70!

I agree, the best year is between 69' and 70', which would make the best year a 69' 1/2 6-pack bee!  If they had made some non post-car 68's then it would have been a tie between a 68' and a 69' 1/2.  If I end up with another car I'd definitely be looking for a bee!  Tipopiola  :icon_smile_big:

If this car keeps pissing me off you wont have to look far to find a 70 lol ;D

1969.  Good selection of options over the 68's, styling wasn't as over the top as the next two years and above all, the A12.

John, I was hoping that you would add pics of both of your 71 Super Bee's. As always they look awesome !

71's are tough to include when you are talking about actual Coronet Super Bees.

If you are talking 68-70, it's 1970 for me. In fact with the exception of the Duster (wrong grille) and 'Cuda (can't beat the '71), there was nothing Chrysler did wrong in 1970.  :yesnod:  :icon_smile_wink:

I know this is difficult and unpopular, especially on a Charger Board, but I think the 71 Super Bee is still coded WM23, just as it was in 69 and 70, meaning Coronet line up...... call the 71-74 two door line up what you want (Charger or whatever) but it still follows the traditional Coronet coding.

any way back to the original question....TeeWJay426 nailed it. Hard to beat the Bad Ass factor of an A12

I've often said the same thing.  Going by the vin designation, the Super Bee did not become a Charger model in 71, the Charger became a two door Coronet.
Now where did I put that fire proof suit?? :nana:

You know Im not too far from you if you wanted to unload that stressful car  :D :D lol

As far as  Superbees go I'd say its a toss up between 70-71. 69's Sure do look mean. Guess it all depends ywhat you want in for looks.

Diddnt the 71 Bee have the Dodge Charger badge on the decklid just before the small bee?

Yes it did. But the W used as the first letter in the VIN was used to designate the Coronet line in years past. Dodge kept the W when the Charger and Coronet line were consolidated, thus making the Charger part of the Coronet line.

70 all the way. Coolest stripe ever on a car from Detroit (reverse C, of course). It's the ugliest and the coolest Superbee at the same time....

To me, the Charger bee is still a Charger. Hey, not bad at all what in fact is my favourite hood trim, but I like more the original idea of the Bee even I don't like the 68/69 coronets/bees at all.

In my opinion, 69's have the most aggressive grill of any mopar.

:drool5: :drool5:

After I get the new roof skin on my satellite, put on a vinyl top and change the cam I'm going to leave it as is for my driver and start looking around for a 68-70 coronet (preferably a 69) or a 68/70 charger if I get REAL lucky.
