There is a 70 sublime RT/SE Challenger 440 car listed as well by ronsclassics that is NOT an original RT/SE car and not an original sublime car, I called him about it, and he told me that it was still a nice car, and that he needs to get atleast $68k for the car b/c that is what he has in it. I still told him it was wrong to lie about the car and he said it doesnt matter. Wow, some sellers are scum.

Big Lebowski

Wow, and you can't even warn the bidders because you can't contact them. Maybe everybody will rat him off to E-bay security if he doesn't change the ad. After all, he actually says in his ad..."As always, I am hiding nothing with this Charger"  :smilielol:
"Let me explain something to you, um i am not Mr. Lebowski, you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the dude, so that's what you call me. That or his dudeness, or duder, or you know, el duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing."

I hate to say it, but if someone buys that car and doesn't at least check the VIN to know what they are getting, it is their own fault. The bidding tells me that nobody beleives that it is an original R/T S.E., but it is a decent looking non original street machine. As far as options that never could be, I have seen a few. I didn't see his Challenger, but at least the Charger and '69 Z28 have no reserve.

Good link Lumpy.  The guy is a scumbag.  When reading his BS in the ad, notice that he wants you to really look at the pictures good and if you want further information to call him.  Nowhere in the whole ad does he invite anyone to LOOK at the car!  Why do people put out that kind of money and not even have someone check the car out?  The bids are now up over 22K.  Bob

There are a few that I know in this "hobby" that would drop $22K on a car without looking at it in person. Then again they are the same ones that hardly bat an eye at dropping 6 digits on a car too.

For the same reason, I don't think you get a/c with any four speed engines in a Road Runner or Super Bee.

You could get A/C with the 383 four speed combo in a RR/SB but you got the 330 horse engine, not the 335.

Quotecould you get a 68 383 4speed with ac?

Yes
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

22K is not a whole lot of money, considering a new Charger costs 32K + and you generally can't pick up a nice '70 for under 20K I don't think that the car is worth more than that. Obviously there is one guy that was not happy with the car that he purchased from this seller, but it seems like most of his buyers are pleased with their purchases. When I sold my '70 Challenger R/T S.E. last year, I thought that the buyer got a great deal on a nice car(21k). He knew ahead of time that the car was not original or #'s or stock, but he talked trash about the car on the cc board once he got it then ended up selling it less than a year after he bought it. Sometime you just can't please everybody.

Big Lebowski

Wow, and he's about to do it again. This seller seems like a real snake oil salesman.

Did anybody notice the ladderbar on the passenger side?  It looks like its hanging.  The rocker panel mouldings look like there trying to hide something and the panel gaps look like shit.
