I am cleaning out my storage barn and this bumper was in it. I was told it is for a 1972 Dodge Demon, but I had another guy tell me it is actually for a 73 Dart Sport but that it will fit all 70-73 Dusters, 71-72 Demons and 73 Dart Sports. I have no idea I am not an A Body guy. Sure looks like a 70-72 style to me though? Thanks in advance for any help.

The bugle sounds the charge begins. But on this battlefield no one wins.

The big bumper guards give it away as 73 up. But yeah A_Body fast back (Dart Sport and Duster)

Thanks Petty but is it for 73 only? I though the 74-76 bumpers had a "rib" that runs the length of the rear bumper like the front ones do?

Thanks Mark,

But don't the 74 and up have those shock cylinders....or whatever they call them behind the guards?

Every picture I can find has the rubber guard attached to a chrome base which is then attached to the bumper? The one I have has the rubber guard butted right up against the bumper itself?

The unit is all assembled with factory hardware and has never been apart. The general opinion is that it is for 73 Dusters and Dart Sports, and that it will fit all 70-73 Dusters, and 71-72 Demons but that it is not correct for the 70-71 models because it has slots in it for the bumper jack. At least that is the info I have been getting...... :shruggy:

I don't know if this helps, but this bumper is on a 75 Dart.

Not the same. The bumper I have is for fastback models only but thanks for looking!

Thought I would add this one also, just for the heck of it.

Its a 72 Plymouth Valliant. Looks like the ends are different.
