And for the 3rd Gen guys, all but the yellow one was there on Sunday
'73 $14,500

I think same year and price...

I actually like the blue one more than the yellow.  Yellow doesnt look good to me on the SE cars.  I really like SE cars with the white tops too.  I think the blue one is actually a 74 judging by the seat belts.   :scope:

The blue 70 440/4 speed sold for 8k. Thats the one I switched my 14" magnums for the 15" chome ones.
The yellow 74, 14k car has been comming to carlisle for awhile. Small block 14k? It will be there next year again.

I thought that one of the better deals was the gold 70 gtx in the swap meet area. Matching #'s 440, buckets , A/C no rust and CLEAN driver for 25K. Only drawback was column auto.

Same story on this one.... clean '67 GTX, nicely done, asking price of 27K...

The powder blue car there is owned by a local guy - Oz.   That's probably him in the pic.   He bought the car in May at the Rhinebeck show and did a bit of interior work on it.   318 car...  no rot.  Pretty clean.

No doubt, that it is a nice Chrger SE but that is just crazy $.  :Twocents:
I sold a survivor 73' SE last year for $8500, 400 2BBL,buckets/console,100,000 miles.Ultra clean car, I was third owner. :
I could see asking $10,000 tops if it had a 440, or a 400 pistol grip, sun roof, tape player on the console. :scratchchin:

That $8500 is probably near what he paid for it a few months ago...    Nothing like trying to make a few bucks I suppose.    I don't know the guy that well but he seems decent.
I know of a green 71 383 SE with some rear quarter "issues" that could probably be gotten for that $ also.   In fact I told Oz about it the other week at the Friday Highland cruise.   He seemed interested.   Who knows.

Is this same blue 70 we are talking about? I can't see any photobucket pics from this computer.

Yup...wow went all the way down to $8000? seemed like a good project dependinging what was under the paint

Bob

It was a solid car. If he would not have sold it we were going to swap cars. He loved the car but his garage was full. He has a awesome Challenger that he is investing the money into to finish.

So, it would seem that some affordable cars are slipping back into the mainstream?
