For those looking for cars here's some of what you would have seen, a few I thought were good deals but didn't sell and of course the completely stupid priced cars. I did notice a LOT of cars still there on Sunday afternoon still for sale, wonder if the market is cooling?

Heres a '70 with a transplanted 440 4 speed was $11,500 on Thursday...didn't see it Sunday, sold?



Here's another '70 seemed all original with 383 auto, typical rust..$11,500 was still there Sunday, guess it didn't sell



I thought this was a good deal, '78 Aspen sport, survivor looked nice was $5000 marked down to $4000 and still there at closing on Sunday

And of course the people with a sense of humor $140,00 for this!!!!!? I'm sure it was just a joke and a way to get a parking spot in the swap meet area

I am a 3rd gen owner but those choods must have been sharing the crack pipe to ask more than $9,000 for a 3rd gen. That is just f-ing crazy.

I actually like the blue one more than the yellow.  Yellow doesnt look good to me on the SE cars.  I really like SE cars with the white tops too.  I think the blue one is actually a 74 judging by the seat belts.

The powder blue car there is owned by a local guy - Oz.   That's probably him in the pic.   He bought the car in May at the Rhinebeck show and did a bit of interior work on it.   318 car...  no rot.  Pretty clean.

Nah, only what ya' see. I just snaped a few pictures to get representitive prices. Next year I'll have to spend more time there

The first time I saw that car was at Englishtown NJ. in about 2000 or so and it didn't have the wing or the nose panel at that time and the story I heard it was wrecked in 73-74  in Georgia with no insurance. I've NO idea how accurate the story is.

60k for the F6 green 440 car (color not available on a 500)

I agree in that I have yet to see a documented F6 '69 Charger500, but I do wonder if it would have been possible.  The TSB which released F6 is dated November 27, 1969 and Charger500 production continued for another couple of weeks IIRC.  I suppose it is mathematically possible for a late-built C500 to be F6, but someone would have had to either change the order for an existing unbuilt car to the F6 color, or ramrod an order through at the last minute.  Both of those are pretty unlikely sets of circumstances, and it'd take a pretty airtight set of documents to convince me that a car was ordered that way, but was it possible??

This is just me but I think I'd scrounge up the extra $60k to own a near-perfect '69 Hemi 500 over the BTS Daytona. That or "settle" for the 440 500 for less than half the cost. I don't see anyone paying $140k for that Daytona. Do they even sell for $200k restored?

It was a Cuda, the same color though, that sold for the 80K.  I saw a SOLD sign on it Sunday.  It was a sweet car.

That is a terrrible rebody then.....   Seriously I am talking about the car in the upper left corner of the pic.  The green car that you can see betwen the hood and fender of the RR.

Ah so Chris how closely did you look that Y2 500 over? Just curious. I've seen it before, but didn't get a chance to really go over it this weekend. By the time I got around to it, they were packing up to head home on Sunday.

One of the nicest cars that I saw in the car corral was on Saturday.  It was a factory green on green '68 R/T 4spd Charger.  It was painted white when restored and had Torque Thrust wheels on it.  He was asking $48K, which was a good deal for an all original sheet metal car.

No doubt, that it is a nice Chrger SE but that is just crazy $. 
I sold a survivor 73' SE last year for $8500, 400 2BBL,buckets/console,100,000 miles.Ultra clean car, I was third owner. : 
I could see asking $10,000 tops if it had a 440, or a 400 pistol grip,sun roof, tape player on the console.

I thought that one of the better deals was the gold 70 gtx in the swap meet area. Matching #'s 440, buckets , A/C no rust and CLEAN driver for 25K. Only drawback was column auto.
