Does anyone know where I can get a rear end pinion seal for an 8 3/4 axle?

what I don't undertand is Chrysler PN is the same to three pinions sizes for a while rest of brands provides diff PN.

I'm pretty certain it's a mistake on Chryslers part.  I ordered one once for my 742 case and it was the wrong size.  I think they only sell the one for a 489 in spite of what they show there.

Well in fact if we are more exact, I think Chrysler number would it be right and doubts about the rest since the oil seal must be of Flange size so nothing related with pinion, and flange are all same diameter. Only difference on flange/yoke are the cross size and spline. You can interchange any flange/yoke with any pinion for a while spline are the same... so then, new guess:

Why the REST of BRANDS are different number ?

when I mean about 489 and 741 is the fact than front BEARING are the same.

At one time, Chrysler DID have different numbers for them.
1 3/4  was 1828719 and  1 3/8 was 2404121?

Just picked mine up from NAPA; it was for an 8 3/4 with a 489 casting; 1 3/8" pinion. I only purchased it from them as it was the first store I walked into and they had it in stock. Part #18708. I think it was around $16.

489 is 1 7/8 just that being tapered is 1 3/8 in the end
