How do I get this bumper off?

I feel really stupid asking this but is there some special trick to getting the bumper off my '73 charger?

No special tricks.  I assume you mean the front bumper?  Theres 4 bolts, 2 of each side.  They connect the bumper brackets to the frame rails.  Look inside the front wheel wells you will see them.  They have a 3/4" head. 

If you mean the rear bolts look on the inside of the trunk for the bolts to the rear brackets.
