Sorry if this thread has already been posted, but seeing as I wasn't able to get to Carlisle, how many of you guys are going to be at the 'Nats??

are the nats as good as carlisle?

Some say better, some say worse.  It depends on what you want to see and do.  I'll definitely be there.

I am going. First year I will be actually staying ON Brice Road! I have been attending since 1991. I think Carlisle (which gets bigger every year) is the more organized of the two. Although this year was pushing it. There were many vendors who are always there who were no shows this year. I wonder why that is.   At least this year the York US 30 Nostalgia run didn't take place the same weekend as Carlisle so they didn't pull any cars away from the show Saturday. The dragstrip is 1/8 mile (waste of time) and you have to travel to it. The Nats on the other hand is physically larger, has a dragstrip at the event but the lay-out stinks and the organizers are borderline retards. (If I'm stepping on toes sue me) Brice road to me is about 40% of the show. The cars are alive and in your face. Not sitting at the show in stone silence, covered in dust in true Nat's fashion. They are moving, breathing, and some are boiling their rear hides much to the appreciation of the thousands that have gathered to watch. In summation, they are both worthy of attending and as Ghoste stated they each have their merits depending on the individual.

I am set to go with my Mopar Club, as we go together every year. But the wife is 7 months pregnant, so I am not real sure right now. It will be a game time decision.
