I have a chance to buy one for $275.  Is that a good deal or not.  I don't really NEED it, but it would be nice to have one better than the one that I have now.  Also, IIRC a 70 jack is different.  Is that correct?  Thanks.

That is about the going rate for a nice jack. The jacks in the 68-69 will not work on the
font bumper on a 70, that is probably what they meant. But still works fine on the rear
still the same rear bumper.

On Ebay they've been selling for anywhere from $250 to $400 depending on the condition. I'd probably grab it if I were you, save on shipping and what not. Is it complete?

WHAT ??? I can't believe it... how exactly is the 68-69 jack ?

It has a special bracket for hooking up to the bumpers.  It's unique to the second gen Chargers.

What is it you would be looking for for it to be "nice"?

I was actually going to post concerning part numbers on the jacks.  I've got a few jacks out in my garage, but they've got different part numbers so I'm not sure which ones are correct for 68's.  Anyone know of the part numbers I should be looking for?  Are the #'s the same for both 68' and 69'?  Any pics?  THANKS!  Tipopiola :icon_smile_big:

Wish I could help you out tipopiola.  I don't have a jack to compare #'s with. :sarcasmalert:  *hint, hint*

I checked my 68 and 69 parts books and someone has torn the page out of the 68 book and the 69 book shows jacks "except Charger" but not a listing for the Charger.  There has to be a separate number for that hook.  Tipopiola, if you can post those numbers, I'll try and cross reference them that way and see what I can come up with.

They are different than other Mopar jacks of the day and do NOT have a removeable hook.  The part that contacts the bumper of the car is a PART of the jack itself.  It looks kind of like a piece of angle iron that is 6-8" long.  I will have to see if I have a pic of one.

I checked, and does look the same or at least similar than 71s... C clamp kind

I'll have to check on the numbers, but heres a quick pic of the parts I was able to find.  I think I've got a few more jack parts here and there, but these were the easy ones to get to.  Looks like I've got parts from at least 3 different styles of jacks.  The two longer jacks are 36 inches long and the one on the bottom is 34 1/2 inches.  Any ideas which parts might belong to a 68' Charger?  I'm not sure, but I think some of the other pieces might be E-body stuff.  Thanks for the feedback so far.  It'd be cool to figure out what I should hang on to and what I can get rid of to clear up more space.  THANKS!  Tipopiola :icon_smile_big:

It looks to me like the only one for a 68 would be the bottom one that has the hook on.  Not the bottom pole with no hook or jacking assembly in the pic but the one just above it.
It's a long time since I had an E-body but I seem to recall that 72-74 were different.  Like a tiny hook that fit into a slot on the bumper.  I think the 70-71 style is more like the hook on the top pole but I'm only guessing.

Do you want to sell the lower one of the 2 in the pic?  The one without the removeable arm on it?  Is there a PN on that jack?  Thanks.
