Hey gang..

Am I the only one that had to grind away slightly some more material from the bottom of the water pump housing in order to have enough clearance for the harmonic balancer on your 426 hemi.. The water pump housing isn't the original one. I had to use a '68 RB version... I continued what the factory already did...  There was an area that was already ground down even for the RB motors....

I have never run into that so far ... bad water pump casting ?
