Did anyone see the show last night with the Road Runner?

I was watching network TV last night, there was a show were the people in a town near Denver see a nuclear explosion.  The mayors son, who drives around in a 68 or 69 RR gets in a head on crash with a station wagon.  Does anyone know the name of the show?  The car was featured a good bit, until it was wrecked.  I want to watch the next episode to see if the car is brought back, not to see if the rest of the world has been destroyed
