That sucks John.  I like the shows mostly if they have a good raffle.  Sucks when you're so close.

Was at a show yesterday.  Ticket lady drops a stretch of them, 30 or so.  I tell her and she doesn't think they're from her and another lady says, "OH they're mine".  I tell ticket lady, "I watched you drop them!"
Another lady says, "You should give them to him since he's so honest"  She does and I tear off half them and give them to the lady that said that.
One of those tickets I gave her won the grand prize, a set of 20" chrome wheels.  ;)

Yeah, what did they give away?

The big local car show I hit every year does a giveaway car too. One time I was sitting right next to the guy who won...he didn't say a thing, he just stood up & started walking toward the announcer. I think he was in shock.

Up until this year, they haven't given anything away that would have made me go ga-ga over it. Not to say I wouldn't have loved to have a free hot rod, but they were nothing extremely special to me, persay. This year, they gave away a hot rodded '56 F100. However, next year's giveaway car will DEFINITELY make me go ga-ga!!  :o

A '68 Charger! :drool5:
This is just after they took the cover off it...you can also sorta see the black '56 F100 giveaway truck.

After all the hubub was over, I went over & checked out the Charger. It's in pretty decent shape!
From what I could tell, it still has it's original trunk floor too. :o

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Does anyone have, or do they have a link to the other numbers pulled, so I know weather to get a shotgun for myself, for leaving before they called it? :slap:

I'd like to know this, too. I packed my Carlisle goodie bag in my luggage the night before, & the luggage was back at the hotel locked up in my trailer. WITH the tickets!!!  :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :RantExplode:

Anyone got a link to the numbers????  :popcrn:
