I just found out I will be heading to Calgary to delivery a trailer. I am leaving Saturday afternoon and will probably get up there Monday sometime hopefully. I have never been to Canada before so this should be a pretty cool trip. Is there anything to be aware of at the border I have my birth certificate with me. Anyone know how the DOT officers or the Canadian equivalent are?  I don't want to get any suprises unless they are good ones.

Thanks

i know the DOT's around here don't like air leaks etc but i think other then roadside safety inspections i think they are fairly relaxed compared to yours.

Thanks I will be heading up for the first time. I have never been out of the USA before, but it should be some nice scenery.

Looking forward to the trip.

Calgary is nice you will like, go to banff if you have time, look up Chryco Physco if you have time and smuggle him across the border to the US and drop him off at my house I need someone to work on my charger......

You will need all your paper work that you have that says you are a person that was born in the US a passport would be preferable.

Other than that the local brew is the best
Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms should be a convenience store NOT a government agency!

Yea, do Banff and Lake Louise.  Beautiful country and great people.  Took the Charger up there for two shows many years back.  One was in Calgary at the Olympic park and the other in Red Deer.  The speed limits are posted in kilometers and nobody obeys them.  I think the Canadian Government was just joking when they put the signs up.  60kph really equates to 60mph and so on.    Bob :icon_smile_big:

I have another question regarding money.  Can you use US Dollars or do you need to have Canadian money?
