I was wondering how many of you guys here are from Iowa or Nebraska? Anyone interested in doing a barbecue,campout,boating whatever with a bunch of Hot Rods! i am thinking it would be sweet to invade a state park somewhere..let me know your thoughts and who would be game for something like this? :cheers:

I am in Nebraska.  Mahoney State Park just west of Omaha is a nice place and has lots of space.  Just a thought.

If you do a cookout the first weekend in Sept,  we will be up that way for the IMCA Nationals!  :2thumbs:  Hunting a 70-71 B body during the day for a suprise gift for my Dad.   :drool5: Going to the races in the evenings!!  :rock:

I live at Waterloo, Iowa.  Cookout sounds like a good way to meet people.  Let me know - I;m always up for a road trip with the Charger. :2thumbs:

Sweet guys! Ok lets get er done!! Shoot some dates in Late July or August that work for you guys. getting a date that works for everyone can be tough. I want to make sure we get everyone we can. Once we agree on a date I will want to put together a roster with everyone and if you have a classic car your driving. What do you guys think, do you wantto make it like a weekend camp outing or just a day barbecue! Would be sweet if any of us have water toys to bring along :yesnod: I am open for ideas and will open this up for anyone wanting to attend. You don't have to own a rod but just enjoy them in general!Tell anyone you know that may be interested. I am thinking something central Iowa as well. I am open for all suggestions so jump in :shruggy:

Sounds good, early September would be good.  I heard there is supposed to be a big show in Omaha around the 8th of Sept.  Won't have my car, but wouldn't mind meeting up with everyone.

P.S. Once you find the name of the Lake you want, find it in the drop down menu tab at the top and click in ot, then you will be taken to that park info! :cheers:

Saylorville might be about the easiest to find.  I kinda like Big Creek though too. As long as you go with a weekend im open to any date.

I am open to about anwhere in Iowa, I think it is only fair to make it in a centralized location so the travel is somewhat fair for everyone. I just want to make it so as many of us can show as possible, the more the merrier so let's see what the vast majority rule and it will be on a Sat-Sun or even a Fri-Sat thing depending on what everyone thinks! Lets hear those ideas :smilielol:

Our 26th RTS All Mopar Auto Show is on Sunday September 9th. Would love to see as many of the dodgecharger.com members as possible there.

We just confirmed our dates in Iowa.  We will be in Boone Iowa on Sept 3-7th!  :2thumbs:
