The federal govt does not spend a DIME on Illegals!!!!!  Illegals are to afraid to go to the hospital or to the govt for any help for fear of being deported
Sure they are.  :slap:
I needed new sig material anyway.

The score sheet on the illegal debate is;
Bull is right.
Ponch is not.
That's it. :icon_smile_tongue:

Ponch, since your opinion is firmly rooted lately in favor for the illegal's cause, why don't you offer to move to Mexico & help the "poor people who just want to feed their families" on THAT side of the fence? You could band together with other like-minded bleeding hearts & finally turn Mexico around to make it a place that a poor individual can have a chance of making something of himself in his own country!
Hell, I bet our government would even jump on that bandwagon, once they saw positive progress from people living there & try to help bring a stable government to the scene. It would be a better deal for both countries in the end.

Is not that my opinion is firmly rooted in favor of the illegals, but I'm being realistic here. Can we really kick out 12 million people? Do we really know what that'll do to the economy? What's gonna stop them from coming back? Fences and walls don't work.

We need to get beyond the demagoguery of "lets round up these greasy Mexicans, kick em out, and shoot em at the border" or "why dont YOU go back to Mexico" ('cause I'm an American, thats why).
Don't put words in my mouth, that's not what I said. I KNOW you're an American. I'm merely saying that you're feeling badly for the plight of the illegals. If you actually feel that strongly for them, why don't you offer to move there & help fix the system from that side? Americans (& others) who feel strongly about the plight of people in other countries & want to help out, do that all the time. Although usually it's involving some third world country, not Mexico...that I'm aware anyway.

And look, if you just don't want Mexicans to come here because you don't like how they look, or the language they speak, or because they put all those lousy Mexican flags and stickers on their shiny new Silverados, just say it...I'll respect you more for it cause at least I'll know where you stand. Don't beat around the bush with all this thinly veiled"we're a nation of laws and they're breaking them" bullshit. It's kinda disconcerting to know that if most of you saw me in the street, without knowing who I am, would more than likely assume that I'm some welfare suckin' illegal.
Honestly, when I see a Mexican looking person on the street, I really do try to give him/her the benefit of the doubt & assume they're an American. I try to reserve my opinions to... if they speak fluent english (even mostly fluent), I assume they're American...or at least they're TRYING to be.
If they can't speak english at all (or barely any), guess what, back over the wall for that guy. :rotz:

Ponch, I respect you as a person & know you're an intellectual individual, presumably more than I am. You're a sick, twisted freak...but in a good way. ;D
For the life of me however, I can't see why you would want to side with a wave of people, no matter which country they're from, who clearly have no respect for doing things right. Who have no problem at all with jumping in line ahead of others, to satisfy their own selfish urges & grab as much as they can while it lasts.
Will you answer that one for me please?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

that wasn't a smart ass comment. Do I not have a point?

You're demonizing illegal immigrants as a group who wants to come here and ravage the land like locusts. It bears repeating that most are just hard working people who want to make a better life for themselves and really not stir up any trouble.

well i agree about hating. i HATE illegal immigrants too. that doesn't make me/us mexican racists.. plenty of other races are illegal immigrants, just so happens mexicans come over in droves compared to others. and as far as your economy statement.. seriously man. do you really think shipping 12 million cheap labor mexicans back where they came from is gonna crash our economy? gimme a break. we were doing just fine 10 years ago before it got crazy, and it could be the same again if they weren't here tomorrow. besides i for one have had so much shit stolen from mexicans.. i'd probably be better off money wise if i didn't have to replace all the lost goods that have been taken from me... no matter which way you twist this argument. bull is right. laws are laws and policies/procedures are just that. lots of the mexicans coming over are 40-50 years old. hell if it's SO bad and desperate over there, how did they live to be past 20??

Never mind. I can see that your honest opinion won't be pried from you easily.

You're too uptight Man, you should go get some 'strange' to help that. :2thumbs:

I'd love to, but he Nubian Princess would kill me. I guess that would make the world a better place - one less Mexican to worry about stealing your stuff.

I'm not going to get embroiled in this crazy ass debate, but in case you wanted to know, I'm with you in spirit, Ponch.  At least you have some moral support...

I'll leave you with a comic; it shows one of the many, many logical leaps and distortions of reason that immigrant-haters use.  The rest of the thought process is similar.  If it wasn't so sad, I'd find it much funnier.
