terrible one

Good deal, those are nice. The one's Cody posted are like the newer Torque Thrust, and are way too "rounded off" or "smoothed out". . . however you put it. The ones on the Charger, and the ones that the Ebay ones look like are the old ET mags. . .

C500

I have 6 in the fleet, covering second generation models all 1:18.

68 Bullitt, 69 Dirty General, 69 Charger 500 customised 'aged' look complete with rust holes etc,  Bobby Isaac Daytona, Hot wheels 69 R/T, 70 R/T. My favourite is the 69 500

I love that Green '69 500!  That is Premium! How did you get that streaked rust look and the dingy paint?   I just started to toy around tonight with the rust through but now I need to make the paint look drab and add some rust color.

Sublime/Sixpack

I agree, that green 500 looks authentic.       Looks like you guys have found a fun hobby!

69bronzeT5

I use Testors for most of the stuff. So the small parts and body panels, I use Zap Co Superglue. ;)

I use only "super glue" on my builds, I don't use testors glue for anything as down the road the stuff will fall apart over time. I hardly use Testors spray paint either unless I really really half to then, I try to find the same color that is not made by testors.

Man, it's eerie for me to see that, coming from someone I don't know.  Because my little brother did a Falcon/GL photochop that looked extremely similar to it about 5 or 6 years ago.

AKcharger

I could easily go over board with collecting these die casts so I just stick to Chargers

hctub

1/18th scale I believe.  Had a R/T and a Daytona at the time and thought it would be cool to make the Charger model into a Daytona.  Crude but looked neat at the time.

Foreman72

i love building models and i would kill 4 a 71 or 72 charger model but i don't think anyone makes one :shruggy:...i know revel and AMT don't...maybe i just need 2 :scope: some more

actually they do......AMT Ertl released one a few years ago. I haven't started mine yet but I bought two - one to build stock and one to make like mine.

69bronzeT5

I built one of those stock...have another one 25% built, it will be anything but stock.
