Jim, you have ALOT of talent. It is amazing how you had made the front bumper stops, louvers, and hood crest. I tried on my 71' model. I ended up making a Wheels of Terror replica. By the way, love  the 79' Magnum.

Thanks.  And thanks for the comment about the Magnum too.

I can't take the credit for the bumperets (I think that's what they called 'um).  Those were actually part of the original model.

Like I said, being in the military for 20 years and separated from my ride, I had a lot of time to work on this.  I think there were like 36 pieces that I ended up making; to make it as close to "mine" as possible.

More patience than talent.  I can see by these pictures, I made the side marker lenses too big.  Whether it's your 1:1 ride or your 1:24 ride, nothings perfect, right?

Anyway, it was a blast to do!

Now I need to find a Magnum model...

When I was in the USAF and separated from my Charger, I decided to make a mini replica.  A lot of the pieces are hand made.  I used the original color (F8) Ditzler paint through an airbrush.

Love your '73 model. Could you make a model of mine for a few bucks???

I really had to piece this together and it took alot of time.  I honestly don't know if I could duplicate it.  I've been on E-bay since then and haven't even come across another 1/24 '73 or '74 model.  I'm sure they are out there though.

Wish I could help you on that but I have a whole lot more things on my plate now than I did then.  Sorry.

BTW - I really like the Pale Green and white interior combination.  That car looks awesome!

Not enough time to strip it back down n do it right.  I call my model collection my retirement hobby. 

Maybe by then I'll figure out how to make tires for them to the specs I want.

beloved moderator Chris     correction, its Hot Wheels Club members only promo car 2004,
took me some time to get this car, its an orange chrome car.

Thanks for the heads up Dan.  That is an '04 Hot Wheels Club Member promo car.  Limited edition of 11,00 pieces.  The boxes are all serial #'d
When I asked Hot Wheels where they got their "inspiration"  for a 440 engine callout '69 they "couldn't remember"

I FINALLY got the hood decal on this 71 R/T....I put it together in July and put the hood decal on last night

This is a Dukes/500 kit that I converted the rear window.  I have many more Charger models but no pix.  Getting to them might be difficult.  Already had a couple pics of this one on my computer.  This is what my car will look like when done except for different wheels.
