I have built many, but no longer have the drive to do them. Here is my last. This is a GL ofcourse, but I went out of my way to get some of the little things correct, like the decals and the rims. I always hated the ones that came with the off the shelf kits.

Its no disgrace being poor.  Its just inconvienient.

Aero426

This is the first of the MPC Daytona models.   This is the one with the 70 R/T scoops on the doors.

Aero426

This is the second issue MPC Daytona with the corrections to the body.   Note the different lettering on the box.

Aero426

The Brooks Daytona has a NASCAR tube chassis.  Tough to assemble!

Aero426

Petty Charger.  Same chassis as the Brooks Daytona.

Aero426

Monogram 1/32 Charger.

Aero426

This is a diecast set.  Both the truck and Charger have pull back motors.    The truck will pull the trailer across the floor.

Hey guys....just thought Id mention some updates on some of my 69 models....my triple black stripe delete RT, I finally put the RT emblems on the quarters and tailight panel....no pics though as my camera got stolen but I will show you the car without the emblems. Also, the General Lee model, I got the decals on finally!!! And I custom mixed abunch of Testor's paint together to make a muddy colour and then I splattered the car with "mud". No pics of that though too....cuz the same reason.

I think the only option is the original MPC '68 Charger kit in 1/25 scale and will be expensive.   The original MPC '68 kit tooling was updated to make the 69 & 70 Chargers as well as the Daytona and later Dukes and Charger 500 kits.

Take heart, REvell is reissuing the 68 R/T kit pretty soon. Give it a little time.

Then theres always the Dick Landy 68 charger that was released a couple years ago.Combine that the still available '69 and you get a lot of options(vinyl roof or painted roof, engines etc).
