Ok, Ive decided this will be the summer of my 68' Charger. It runs so good, its a crime not to get it better looking. Ive already fit my new (old) front fender on and Ive got a body guy lined up to weld on the new rear quarters. My questions are (and Im sure they've all been covered at one point in the past so forgive me) Im looking for a definitive/consectutive by the numbers type list of what to do, when to do it and what to use AFTER I have my body all taken down to bare metal (which I hope to have done in about 11/2 monthes) Ill be re-painting it the stock 68' SS-1/Sunfire Yellow (although Id like to add in a bit more gloss somehow-ideas?) Can someone guide me through all the necessary coats, primers, sealers and best mateials starting with a bare metal body? Ive read so many differing things over the years..when would be the best time for any body filler (I know, an evil word..) before or after primer? Also, any idea on a decent paint gun and can the same be used for sealers/primers?  What does epoxy primer allow you to do? wait longer before paint? Id like to try this myself. Im pretty good with paints in general and I think I can do it with some solid advice. Im open for suggestions fellow Charger nuts...sorry for the massive question, Im just a little confused..

I belong to www.autobody101.com.  The members there have alot of knowledge on painting and bodywork that will help you alot.  Also, there are free articles posted that tell you step by step how to paint and do bodywork.  Good luck!!!  and post pics
