My Dad taught me about TIME TRAVEL.
"If you don't straighten up, I'm going to knock you into the middle of next week!" :P

Nice trucks! In one pic there is a red p/u. Is that a Studebaker pickup? Looks sharp no matter what it is.
Nothing personal, just business

moparguy01

too bad the guy with the studebaker semi and car carrier is such a jerk.

Got any other pics of the red IH KB series truck?

The studebaker semi car carrier is actually an IH truck.  I wonder if someone else wasnt driving it at your show because the owner is one of the nicest guys I have ever met.  He does let others take the truck to shows when he cant make it.   I did see your favorite Corvette today! HAHA!

From a guy hundreds of miles away, thanks for the pics, Todd. That had to have been a pretty cool experience. :)
That's really cool that you & the Dually were able to cruise in the festivities...who would have known 40+ years ago that this truck would have been a parade participant?? ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

That is true!  I have an even better story............

The 2 trucks in this picture   a 46 Chevy and a 33 Dodge Brothers  both owned by a friend of mine  have been in the family for along time. The Dodge was bought new and the 46 was purchased when it was a few years old. Been in his family all that time. He ended up with the trucks when the older family members passed on. I saw B&W photos last weekend someone dug up for him of both trucks side by side in a field with a combine lined up filling them during a harvest long ago. He was just a small boy and his dad was in the pictures doing the work. I asked the dad today who is now an old retired man  if he ever thought back in the day that his son and himself would be driving both trucks in a parade and he laughed and said  he never would have thought the trucks would even be around. Thats a cool story and not many can say they have the history like that with their old trucks.

then maybe its a different rig pulling the carrier. there was that hauler with a stude rig hauling it at the all stude show in McPherson the last year i was there. and the owner of the rig was a real peice of work. I'd rather have a 10 hour long conversation with the corvette guy than talk with the prick with the stude rig again.
