Very Technical Question regarding 1970 Charger Side Marker Lights

I have several side marker light housings that fit my 1970 Charger. The light housing is the metal piece that is chromed and holds the red or yellow reflector lense. Some of the  metal housings hold the reflector lense so that it is flush with the perimeter of the metal housing and while some of the metal housing hold the reflector lense such that it is recessed - in other words, there is an approximate quarter inch gap between the lense and the perimeter of the chrome metal housing.

Can anyone tell me which housing are correct for the 1970 Charger? I was told that the red and yellow lenses for the 1970 Charger and 1970 Coronet are compatible.

Below are the parts numbers cast on the metal housings for each set. Which set is for the 1970 Charger?

Red Lenses
Rear (even numbers right hand side, odd numbers left hand side)
3403752 & 3403753
3403574 & 3403575

Yellow Lenses
Front (even right hand, odd left hand)
3403778 3403779
3403742 3403743

Thanks,
Mat

Spike,

Thank you. What about the yellow? Same thing - recessed?

Thanks,

Spike,

Thanks. It's kind of hard to see the top of the housing from this angle.

Is the yellow lense recessed in the housing the same way it is for the red lense?

Thanks,
Mat

Are the early built Challenger's the only ones with the black outline?

Also, the threaded studs on the Coronet housings are closer together than the Charger housings. As such, the metal backings won't interchange, either.
