Does anyone have those paparazzi pics of Bruce Willis getting into his 1969 Dodge Charger in Beverly Hills. I remember him driving around in it with his supermodel girlfriend while they were shopping.

I need to prove to someone that Bruce drives a Charger - and those pics are definitely the proof.

I'm a stooge - i found the old thread......

Still is kickass that he drives a charger - I'll buy a ticket to die hard 3 just for that.

3? I don't think you need a ticket to see that movie

hahaha, well I appeared on TV recently down here, but no, what I mean is Bruce Willis is not a big deal. Charger is not greatest because he drives one, Charger is great by itself... Crazy Larry drives a Charger too... doesn't ? who cares who drives a Charger for a while I'm happy and proud driving mine.

Jenny told me once when ppl pictures thread started that I did look like a reality show guy or kinda LOL

I think the intent of Larry's post was that Bruce Willis is a better person because he drives a Charger, not the other way around.

Nacho-RT74

Ok, maybe we can say he has good taste at least ( beside the bad actor it is IMHO )...  :icon_smile_big:

He's not the reason I own one. And he doesn't impress me more because he owns one. And as an actor, he sucks and so does his movies.  :Twocents:

I think somehow people feel it lends credence to their opinion that Chargers are cool when someone famous shares that same opinion. :shruggy: But famous people buy and sell classic cars like we buy and sell trinkets at a yard sale. There probably aren't too many celebrities who are "Die Hard" Charger fans like us.

Not to be a jerk, but how do some of you guys know he only has it because it is an in thing? Maybe he has the car because he LIKES Dodge Chargers!

Sometimes some of the people here are.........curious to say the least, and apparently a few are even mind readers.

Yo!

It is 4 in the Die Hard series now isn't it? Like I said, I'm a stooge.

Been occupied for a while - in the last year - I have ran across the United States - from Syracuse, NY to Los Angeles, CA - that took me 132 days - then back in Syracuse, am in the editing of the documentary surrounding the run, and I just bought a house on the west side and renovating that.....all in one year....

the good news is the  Charger has a garage to rest in now - finally!

Yes, it needs a bath - but I haven't even driven the Charger more than 10 minutes this past year - I'll duck now as a few tomatoes get tossed my way.  :P

But the Charger is in desperate need of a tune-up - it's running really rough - I think its skipping a cylinder (bad spark plug) - but I haven't even had the time to work on it.

I always looked at it like Hollywood is full of boys who try to play men on the big screen - and when they are off the screen - they are driving the latest hybrid euro whatever to fit the metrosexual idiocy that seems to be the norm out there. Its always nice to see a tough-guy actor, actually carrying that persona into real life. Kind of like Steve McQueen, when he wasn't filming the Great Escape, would spend his off time tooling around in that German Mortorcycle that he famously rides in the movie - he would race through French towns and get all the locals pissed off.

i always enjoyed watching McQueen knowing that that is how he is in real life - with Bruce in the Charger, I still watch his movies with a smile knowing he tools around Bev Hills, getting all the folks pissed off in his gas guzzling American Muscle Machine - and my favorite one at that - The Dodge Charger.

..and the supermodel, and the idea of having one in the passenger seat of your Dodge Charger is one hell of a thing to aspire to - Bravo Bruce!

Last I heard he doesn't own it anymore and didn't have it very long to begin with.
