Cheers,
hole saw them close to the right size then hand file them to fine tune the fitment of the plyg.

Would a generic step drill bit be good/close enough for the various sizes in the trunk?  I'll be using my '70 Charger as a template since the holes are the same...

Thanks..

that will work for the smaller holes but unless you have a really big one youll have alot of filing to do on the big ones.

Have you ever used a Knock-out Greenlee for the bigger holes?  I was referred to that on another board..

not that brand but i assume you are talking about a pinch punch and yes that will work good if it wont scratch the paint.

Oh, paint isn't an issue since I'm having the complete underside and engine compartment painted again.....  So, I guess I need to look for a "pinch punch" or Knockout then,,,  I'll double check to make sure that all my bigger holes are already done... It may be just the smaller ones I need to do other than the quarter extension one which is "D" shaped...

hey Troy be VERY carfull making the holes in the 1/4 ext , the outer panel is very close to the inner in that area and that would be a bad oops!

Oh yeah.. That's why I was disappointed that my body man didn't do that before he installed them... I would have done that.. But now I have to be extra careful...  Such is life.. I'll use a dremel on this I guess...

This is the trunk I'm working on... As you can see, most holes are there, but not all....

I always use a hole saw that fits into Drill but unless you get a big deluxe kit most likely it wont contain your size so maybe just by the 2 sizes you need, Forgot the size but was something like 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 & a smaller 1/2. LEON.
