Anyone know where the cheapset place is to find an after market aluminum water pump and housing? Mancini's has a special for about $190, but I dont want the chrome hose fitting and I don't know if it comes with a pump/housing gasket.

I'd prefer a high volume pump unless someone can tell me why it's not a good idea; stock engine, will later upgrade to alum. intake and new cam.

Awsome!

If I can get it for about $120 that would be great...thanks! I looked at the site and was wondering if it's a high volume pump or not? Even if it's not I'll probably order one on monday.

To answer your question....yes it's a high volume pump with an anti cavitation plate on the impeller.  :2thumbs:

Looks identical to this edelbrock pump that sells for $125.00 at Summit.....probably made at the same place too.   :yesnod:

My buddy runs this setup on his supercharged 440.....spun up to 7000 several times with no problems. I have the same parts for my 446.
