Will white duct tubing work for the heater/vent to front window?

Will that white duct tubing stuff that you buy in a hardware store work for the heater/defrost vents that go into the dash and defrost the front window???? This is for a 70 Charger.
I was not sure if that kind of stuff could withstand the heat????

My two heater duct tubes have holes in them and I want to replace them.

I would think they would work, I'm not positive though.

It should work.  You can't find something more similar to the original though?
