fuel sending unit price differences

after check several prices is amazing how difference on prices run...

All dealers have these units on around $100-120, for a while you find on ebay ( for example ) on around $60. Lucky... Well one difference between the one I bought and the cheaper is mune is brass floater and the cheaper is plastic.

I don't know. I'm sure more people will chime in here. I bought a new one at the show in Fremont, CA for $60 from a guy selling a bunch of new stuff that you could buy through year one as well.

We had a discussion sometime ago about the difference in quality and price.  Mind you this was for the 2nd generation cars, but still good information with photos.
