So I was taking the center carb off of my six-pack to put in a new power valve and to put in some different size jets and while I was taking off the right front bolt, I didn't notice that the edge of the socket caught on the vacuum port for the secondary carbs and broke it off :brickwall:

So anyways, I was wondering if I drill it out and put in what is left of the vacuum port, can solder it and have it be ok? Or am I sh&t creek and have to buy a new carb?? Any help would be awesome. Thanks guys.

It should be ok ,maybe even a little 5 minute epoxy will do the trick?

Thanks for the advice guys. I will the expoxy a try. I drilled out what I could of the port and then blew it out with air and then carb cleaner, so hopefully I won't have any problems. Thanks again.
