Cool.  Too bad her funny cars were always Fords.  That's Kalitta's fault I suppose.

LeeBoy

I think most of her rides were MOPAR's, can anyone else back me up? Nice Pics by the way.

I only recall the Satellite.  I though most of the time it was a plastic Mustang.  I do recall that when she got back into a dragster it said Plymouth on the cowl.

She is not a mopar gal anymore!!!     When she came to our local car show 2 years ago to sign autographs, I tried to get her to write a nice mopar inspired pep talk to my new born baby girl.   Shirley refused to write "mopar", she didn't give an explanation, but I think her retirement season she drove for GM.   Very friendly person, but mopar must of burned her.

She looks pretty good in that 3rd pic

Nice lady, i met her back in June at a car show here in Scenectady, very easy going.

Nice find on the pics! :2thumbs:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
