halo top?

What was this option? I was lookin on ebay and found a charger near me with this option. Looks like a normal charger to me.

A Halo Top is the closest thing to a full top you could get.They didn't offer a full vinyl top in 73-4. The Halo doesn't quite extend the full perimeter of the roof.

Yes you could. VK1 waa the option code. they came in Parchment or Black.

That is just with opera window on spring special package.

Hardtops ( not spring special packaged ) were the halo tops mentioned and canopy, and meets the specs described my hemihead. Not vinyl on A pillar, around wuarter glass or drip rails

and is not rare.

Nacho, what else coulld you tell me about the Spring Special?  Please, I'm desperate.

All what I know is what I read on my 74 Mopar parts catalog and everything posted here &/or the web. Mopar parts catalog just states PNs not really info about packages.

On a brochure posted earlier on another thread, it does state the opera window and full vinyl roof was OPTIONAL to spring special package. It looks basically the SSP was about interior stuff like the Satellite Sundance or Dart Hang Ten. However these last ones seems to be MORE equipped or trimed than Chargers SSP IMHO.

The first time this topic about SSP floated up started just because somebody asked about that weird opera window without louvers and full vinyl roof. On those days on the old board I did know about those because the car diagrams on my Mopar parts catalog but didn't know its package name. It does look nobody else did know about it, but of course not everybody and in fact just a few of us has an original Mopar parts catalog. Then with time the info just has been arriving alone with everybody support.

They are basically the same SE trim, with body plug and interior parts, just louvers removed and frames installed to replace louvers.

and of course full vinyl top.

Third Gen board!    I would have a big gapping space if I did. Knowing how we are both Third gen freaks, do you think that i would sell them to ya cheap?

Halo top is called to the one that doesn't meet with drip rails modlings and quarter molding. Does have a surrrounder molding instead. Sundances doesnt have halo tops because wo'nt get the stripe/decal on roof-C pillar-doors etc.... Your one probably is the one called "canopy" top
